Thanx Fans....
We would like to thank all our fans for their great support and reviews for the TVM event and the interview on HFM 92.6. We apologize for not posting the time and the date we would be on-air beforehand. However we are very pleased with the comments and the great reviews for the song we played in TVM.
The reviews has helped a lot to build our confidence and we assure the fans for more kickass songs in the show.

Revival On BreakOut Festival
This event has been set-up to find 2 London based bands to perform at the Media Launch and industry meeting held on the 11 th December 08 in Male (Maldives)..
The event consists of 2 rounds in Maldives. 17 bands perform in the first round and 4 bands will be selected to the second round. The bands are selected by sms votes for the bands. The band with the most sms votes for the night will go the second round which be held on the 11th of December 08. The first round is held on the 4th,5th and 6th of December 08. Send in your votes for Revival by messaging "breakout(space) 11" to 5800.
Send your votes from 12.30 to 1.00 on 5th Dec night. Hope you remember us.

bringing the blog up to date
hey guys... its been a while since revival chamber had had some activity.... most of us are in school and we rarely get time for music anymore...
as promised we have a few songs that we are going to post very soon... we are not going to say what songs... but its gonna be kikass....;P... we promised we'd post earlier but we are experimenting with new recording techniques that surpass the kalhusoru recording... (we are still recording at home)... and we are proud to say the new guitar tone and drum sound are nearly studio quality...:D

Iz It Time For a Change?
What would It be like, For Revival to hav a Synth? I hav been thinkin abt thiz for a few Dayz now. Thiz could Definitely Improve the harmonized parts In the Bands Original sOngz. It'll take the Band's Creativity to a new level.
Ofcoz, thiz would also mean Revival will be labeled az a Death Metal Band, and/or a Power Metal band. With all the Respect to your views on the Issue, I personally dont like to take up the Title of a Power Metal Band. Death Metal? maybe. The more I think on the subject, I feel less Confident abt the chances of Synthesizer in Revival.
I'll let the Band discuss thiz nd reach a Decision. As for me, I personally kno a couple of people who wont be happy abt the Idea. Surely, If a Synth joins Revival, Hynum's Parentz wont be happy abt the Electricity Bill!!

The night of the new year
Well... new year was cummin it was at the middle of december and we felt like doin sumthin coool.
sooo we got together and decided tht wed host a party for aal friends and family. And so we did...
It was pretty cool gettin it ready, we gotta lotta help from buddies soo wed like ta thnk them this moment. The gettin ready part was part fun and part exaustin cos we had ta get oll the stuff up to the freakin 8th floor of a freakin tall building, EIGHTH FLOOOR, WOW and we did it all by our hands, breakin our backs and stuff. uuurm, but realy all it took was just one press to the button tht says 8 on the elavator and off we go. HEHEHEEE. .. . . but stil it was exaustin....(ahem).
Anyyyy waaaay.... the party was ready, the food was served and exellent, the guests arrived, were getting restless, the stage was set and RevivaL stepped ooon. We began playin and recieved great support from a great audience. We played our own songs, "Mistress in black" and "Acsending" to a great response from the audience and also lotssa new songs, from which "a girl alone" by hungry lucy (cover) got the greatest feedback. So the night went oon and oon and then finally.... the new year came. We enjoyed the moment with our audience and partied oon ....although we messed up the countdown part pretty much.
So the party turned out ta be a great party and we enjoyed pretty much and got great new fans and great support. So thnx a lot everybody whu helped make it happen and a great thnx to our fans and also a great thnx to techPC for being a gud sponsor. kekeke

DUDES......
Heya folks.....
Hope u like the cover of "Kalhusoru"(of zero degree atoll) by us.... we did in our practice room and i do hope u like the quality of the sound and the mixing...... We will be posting new songs now and then.....and those will be covers of famous songs by maldivian bands as well as world-wide bands like Megadeth, Iron maiden etc etc.....
If you guys want any special songs just let us know and we will try to play that song for you guys... Fans come first ryyyttt??? We appreciate the support you guys are giving us....and hope it will continue...so guyss get ready to HEADBANG & KICKASS!!!!

Yet Another Gig
On the 8th of November , Friday night Revival performed yet another gig in "Jamaaludheen School". As it was a party the band had to step down from playing fast heavy metal music to slow and clean material. Revival was set to take the stage at 8.30pm but due to Hainam not being present on time they took the stage at 9.30pm.
Revival performed all covers which included songs from the local legends, Zero Degree Atoll and also from other various English artists. To finish it off they performed an all time crowd favorite called " Nimeny" a famous Maldivian song. The band received great applause and support for their performance.
After the party we gathered around talking about the gig. "It was great" said Hainam and Scrooje. "The sound was great and perfect" they said. Hamdhu said that for him the party was kinda boring due to him not being able to play his double bass drum beats. Azzam commented that the party didn't go well for him either due to having to play slow and "boring stuff" as he said. And as for me the party went excellent and i think we performed well although i forgot the lyrics on some songs, hehe .... anyyyyywaaay, I think its another splendid performance for the band. LONG LIVE REVIVAL!!

On behalf of the band and me i thank you all for your great and awesome comments. We are very extremely pleased and thrilled on receiving such a cool feedback. So thanks once again and we look forward to more comments.
i would also like to take this opportunity to say sorry to our fans for the delay in the release of our album. We had mentioned earlier that we were heading into studio but we had to cancel due to the band not being satisfied with the material. So now were working on the songs and we have
already made 6 and were heading towards the completion of 3 more in full steam and we would get you the album in no time. So once again on behalf of Revival i say sorry for the long wait.
But we promise we would make our album one of the toughest and best head banging and kick ass album there cud be, with songs with a lot of speed and heavy metal with melodic bass lines and vocals. We would bring you up to date about the songs and the reviews from the band members about them and also we would keep you informed regularly about the album. If theres
anything we know it would be in here. Within the revival chamber.
